Kat Lucas

Kat Lucas is a Gold Coast, Queensland based freelance photographer who has a strong interest in capturing architecture, interior and lifestyle images. At the core of Kat’s creative inspiration and energy is the rich fusion of cultural experiences from living in travel through Asia, Europe and Australia.

Before shifting her focus to photography, she worked in the interior design industry for ten years for a number of design, construction and furniture businesses. 

Kat’s creative style of photography is heavily influenced by her passion for colour. She has the expertise necessary to interpret client briefs and brings her own style to the project, while still meeting the client’s objective. Regardless of the client brief she is constantly seeking to adapt and experiment with the use of high contrast colours to positively enhance emotion and the mood across all disciplines. Her portfolio is vast; with experience in local business photography right through to photography for Fortune 500 businesses.
